Don't Transform Now

Just one more day,
Please, stay with me another night.
Don't transform now.
The clouds can wait another day,
Though they melt and need you to rekindle.

They've always been strong,
They can hang up a bit.
Or can't you see my plea?
Can't you connect with my shiver
When you hug me
And tell me how strong I am?

Now who keeps the return jewel?
It was meant for you
To come to us from the other world.
But now, the clouds need you.
I wish I could ask for more days,
My grace period is almost over.

Stay in my dreams,
Nature allows me to see you there.
Don't transform to clouds now mum.
Please! Just a day and a night.
We need you equally,
I need you more.

Epilogue
I wrote this on Sunday, 22nd May,2016. I had a dream about my mum who has passed on. In the dream, dead people transform to clouds after a short while. Apparently, we had managed to get her (mum)  a jewel that could allow her to return to us (family) from the other world. She did but after some days, she had to leave and not return because the clouds were beginning to melt. They needed her to rekindle. And there I was, pleading and crying that she stays one more day and a night.
